April 5: Mindfulness for Self Compassion Part 1: Self-Compassion for meeting challenges April 12: No Class April 19: Mindfulness for Self Compassion Part 2: Self-Compassion for the Body and Mind-- Guest Yoga Teacher: Ananda Ewing-Boyd April 26: Mindfulness for Growing From Challenges: Integrating the practices May 3: Herbs for Supporting Mental Health Guest Speaker: Geoffrey Edwards, M.OM, L.Ac, M.S. Acupuncturist-Art Therapist Course Content: Mindfulness is not just a morning ritual; it is a way of becoming more present in your daily life from moment to moment. The participants in this class will learn practices that help you integrate mindfulness into your daily routine. Specifically, the exercises are designed to help increase focus, reduce anxiety, face difficulties with greater serenity, and derive more joy and meaning from everyday life. The practices you learn will also enhance emotional awareness and self-regulation and increase self-compassion and relationship skills. You will also receive weekly, optional homework assignments designed to reinforce the practices.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 48 hours in advance to discuss rescheduling arrangements. Zanasa Center for Healing and Justice Refund Policies: If you need to cancel your registration, you must e-mail angela@zanasacenter.com to make arrangements to apply your fee as a credit towards another program or to get a refund. Our refund and cancellation policies vary by program. Credits: Instead of cash, you may accept your refund in the form of a credit, which provides you with a credit to be used for an upcoming class or workshop based on the below refund & credit policies. All credits must be used within 1 year of the original program. You may apply the credit toward a program with a more expensive fee and pay the difference. Students can transfer their enrollment to the same class or another class. REFUND & CREDIT POLICY FOR ALL MULTI-WEEK CLASSES: Administrative Fee: $30 A varying portion of your registration fee will be refunded or credited depending on how much notice of your cancellation you provide: – up to 7 days before the first class: 100% of your registration fee, minus the admin fee – Cancellations before the second class: 50% of your registration fee, minus the admin fee – No refunds offered after the second class except under emergency circumstances. INDIVIDUAL MINDFULNESS COACHING REFUND POLICY (therapy services discussed in a separate document): Classes can be rescheduled for no charge up to 24 hours in advance and after 24 hours there is no charge if there is an emergency. A 10% administrative fee will be assessed on all refunds or credits A varying portion of your registration fee will be refunded or credited to you depending on how much notice of your cancellation you give: – up to 7 days before the session: 90% of the session fee ( minus the admin fee) – within 7 days before the class: 50% of the registration fee (minus the admin fee) – within 24 hours of the session or after the class: no refunds will be given except under emergency circumstances.
